Job Description
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and develop staff members to provide excellent customer service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders
- Coordinate banquet and catering events, including menu planning, setup, and execution
- Manage the bar area, including inventory control, bartending, and adherence to responsible alcohol service policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a coffee shop, banquet hall, hotel, or similar establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food production processes and industry standards for quality and safety
- Familiarity with bartending techniques and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
