We offer the sales of Ag, Lawn and Garden equipment, GPS and parts. We also service and repair all makes and models of vehicles and agricultural equipment. We are growing our Sales Department and looking for a dynamic individual to join our team! The Sales Representative establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services. You will demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customers need.
- Keep current on features and benefits of products and equipment.
- Promote other products or services offered by the company.
- Demonstrate new and used whole goods equipment.
- Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur.
- Make phone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- After hours work as needed.
- Delivering equipment to customer as needed.
- Attend training as required by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
- Use dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class “G” licence
- Fork truck operator’s certifications, training available.
- Great customer service skills, even after hours.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to interpret customer needs, product knowledge.
- Prospecting, presentation and closing skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Computer skills.
Type
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm or Monday to Friday 7am-4pm
- Every other Saturday 8am-12pm
- Overtime during busy season (April-June)
Salary
- Salary to be discussed based on experience.
- Commission pay based off sales.
