Sales Development Representative

We are looking to add a Sales Development Representative (SDR) - This is an entry-level sales position with advancement opportunities. Our sales office is located in the heart of Ottawa’s Byward
Market, with a hybrid model throughout the week (three days in office; 2 days from home).
This is a Full-time, permanent position, with standard hours of Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm ET.
The base salary is $45,000 with a significant additional commission opportunity of $13,950.00 when achieving quota, with no commission limit.
Job Responsibilities
The SDR will support and learn from our Account Management team. In this role, you are responsible for prospecting Fortune 5000 companies to identify potential users and buyers of our service, and qualifying leads to opportunities for our Account Managers (including warm and cold outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn). Once you have established communication with the prospective companies, you will then be the dedicated point of contact for that company during the qualification phase.
Successful candidates will enjoy a high degree of autonomy, while being supported and mentored by the Sales and Marketing teams, combined with structured industry and business mentoring by our co-founders who are both extremely successful in the software business.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Generating interest in Fullintel’s product offerings and creating a positive and valuable first impression to potential clientele
● Meeting and exceeding activity goals (such as the number of LinkedIn outreaches, emails sent, and monthly demos booked).
● Providing prompt phone/email follow-up to all inbound leads and properly documenting and tracking results.
● Qualify accounts and initiate the sales process by scheduling product demonstrations for
Account Executives and Account Managers.
● Leveraging subscription services like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to research for the right companies and individuals to prospect through emails and phone calls.
● Utilizing Salesforce to track all pertinent information related to the prospect.
Requirements:
● Post-Secondary degree
● Strong technical skills with MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
● Post-COVID must be willing and able to travel to the USA as some travel is required throughout the year
● Comfort and Ability in presentations and client-facing meetings
● A strategic, consulting mindset, continually being proactive to understand client issues and how to turn them into opportunities
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Outstanding organizational and time management skills are required
● WIllingness to learn about the role and company
● Experience in B2B sales is considered a strong asset
