Job Description
LuminUltra is recruiting an Inside Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic Customer Experience Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building meaningful customer-centric relationships to ensure the success of prospective and current customers, and this will be measured through revenue growth within our portfolio of technologies and solutions.
You will spend the majority of your time generating and nurturing business opportunities from both new and existing customer bases, educating the market on the power of LuminUltra’s expertise and solutions. Specifically, you will own inbound and outbound lead management and outreach to drive interest, commitment, and sales growth of LuminUltra’s portfolio of technologies and solutions.
You will become an expert in how fast and accurate microbial monitoring can help customers achieve their business goals. You will master using modern digital lead generation tools and techniques to drive sales opportunities and learn to conduct business development best practices to connect with new prospects and interface with current and dormant customers.
The Inside Sales Development Representative is an exciting new role within the organization that interfaces with all critical commercial functions – Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and Product Management. The successful candidate will be well placed to carve out a long-term, advanced career path at LuminUltra through any of these functions up to Management and Leadership.
The Inside Sales Development Representative will work to support key organizational objectives, including:
- Targeted growth of our business by consistently meeting or exceeding sales quota.
- Accelerate new customer acquisition by owning inbound leads and creating/qualifying sales opportunities.
- Developing best practices for lead generation, lead nurturing and opportunity creation, focusing on improving velocity from lead creation to close.
- Creating and executing direct account engagement strategies, including creating playbooks with sequences to support outbound, specific verticals, upsell/cross-sell, nurturing, and re-engaging closed-lost opportunities.
- Advocate for the voice of our customers, sharing customer insight to Product Management, Marketing and Sales on what innovation and continuous improvement are needed to improve the customer experience.
Qualifications
- 12 + months of relevant sales experience required; internship/co-op experience will be considered.
- You are self-motivated and looking for an opportunity to develop with and within an organization that is on a consistent growth and expansion trajectory into senior positions.
- Results-driven & competitive nature- you have a proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results.
- Superb writing, communication, and listening skills, with the ability to listen to and empathize with the customer.
- A collaborative that prioritizes ‘we’ rather than ‘me.’’ You believe that the whole is greater than the sum of all parts.
- Previous cold-calling experience required.
