Your day to day:
- Develop a strong team to fully execute on the sales strategy for dealership.
- Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team to ensure that performance metrics and sales goals are achieved.
- Establish the short, medium, and long-term objectives for new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
- Develop and implement sales operations plans that have a focus in scalability and sustainability.
- Deliver on financial results while ensuring compliance with company policies and corporate.
- Oversee the management of vehicle inventory.
- Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of the dealership’s marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Be accountable for ensuring the successful conversion of iLeads to sales.
- Lead the development and execution of the dealership’s sales strategy.
- Monitor all performance metrics related to sales and the customer experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our valued clients to further promote the dealership’s brand within the market.
- Effectively manage costs to improve efficiency.
- Work in partnership with the OEM to achieve common goals.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive dealership sales management position.
- Post-Secondary education in a related discipline would be considered an asset.
- Must have previous experience building and mentoring a successful sales team.
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting practices, budgeting, and expense management.
- Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills.
- Experience using CRM systems or other automotive software systems would be considered an asset.
