Job Description
We are seeking a Contractor Sales person to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.
Duties and Responsibility
- Estimate and provide the customer with professional proposals on all inquiries and opportunities while building positive relationships to obtain future business.
- Follow up on all quotations to gain customer satisfaction and trust.
- Order and organize all products from a takeoff order including shipping to the site and following up on back orders.
- .Draft work orders and purchase orders for all approved work.
- Act as primary customer liaison for site meetings, issues, support, etc.manage internal and external relationships associated with each project.
- Ensure that all project files are complete with all drawings, warranties, purchase orders and other relevant information pertaining to the project.
- Participate in tender closings
- Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time consistent with this position and the job description and duties set out herein.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of successful Contractor Sales or related project experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites is required.
- Ability to multi-task and simultaneously manage multiple complex / large and small projects with deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
- Detail oriented.
- Able to conduct technical communications in English with internal and external parties, both written and verbal
- Read, understand, and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office modules, Microsoft Project, and database.
- Familiarity with Canadian codes and relevant national standards.
- Self-starter initiative and team player mentality, able to work both in a team environment and independently.
- A passion for construction.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada – no work permit sponsorship is available for this position.

All customer and staff must wear masks at all times. In the common areas frequent sanitizing is maintained. Sanitizers are found at all workstations and sanitizing fogging is done nightly
