Reporting to the Multi-Family Sales Manager, the Multi-Family Sales Representative will play a critical role in the Pre-Construction team by building rapport with general contractors, keeping key information updated, and reporting back intel about upcoming projects.
Duties:
- Work with Pre-Construction team to support strategic goals.
- Focused on creating and improving Innotech’s rapport with general contractors.
- Qualify and communicate with any leads/prospects on a timely basis.
- Prequalify opportunities for suitability, risk, fit and profitability.
- Participate in Canadian and US networking events to gain intelligence on the fenestration trends and opportunities.
- Support Business development in architectural presentations as well as plan and conduct technical seminars, events, and presentations when required.
- Update CRM and tracking tools with relevant information on clients and opportunities.
- Work with leadership to close projects.
- Building and Maintaining relationships with general contractors.
- Engaging in industry associations, such as: VRCA, HAVAN, BCBEC, PHC, AIBC
- Firm understanding of Innotech product options and limitations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Diploma or degree in administration, project management or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational & interpersonal skills
- Good arithmetic and critical thinking abilities
- Proficient in reading, evaluating, and explaining technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Working knowledge and ability to use programs such as Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Bluebeam and PrefSuite (or another ERP program)
- Works with a sense of urgency, is well organized and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Valid BC driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and work flexible hours when required.
Working Conditions:
These duties of this position will be performed virtually, onsite or from the Innotech office. Hours of work can vary and will at times be outside of regular office hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
