Russell Hendrix is looking for a Showroom Sales Representative to join our sales team in Edmonton. You’ll be an integral part of the team’s success, working closely with customers in person and over the phone. This position requires a drive to deliver on goals, excellent communication skills, and a high attention to detail. This is an ideal position for an individual with “front of the house” food service experience and is looking to find solutions for customers in a dynamic and challenging environment.

What You'll Do:
- Assist all commercial and residential customers (walk-ins and calls).
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Keep showroom, warehouse and front counter clear from clutter.
- Utilize front counter computer to invoice sales and look up information as necessary.
- Perform daily cash procedures; handle cash/debit/credit transactions and close cash at the end of each day.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
- Un-pack, price, display and merchandise products in the showroom.
- Promoting of all in-store demonstrations and events.
- Maintain cleanliness of showroom; dust and tidy displays and front counter area.
- Maintain up-to-date retail and commercial catalogues and price lists at front desk.
- Count inventory as necessary.
- Participate in product knowledge sessions and ensure that all product knowledge is current.
- Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
- Assist with shipping-receiving tasks when necessary.
- Carry out any other tasks related to the position.
Where You'll Work:
- You'll work onsite at the Edmonton Showroom, alongside the showroom team.
- The showroom environment will have you working on your feet with some regular movement of product throughout your day required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- You are tech savvy and proficient with common programs such as Microsoft Office.
- You have demonstrated customer service experience in a retail or food service background.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- You are highly collaborative and team oriented.
- You are naturally organized and have a high attention to detail.
- You have an ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs.
- You have a passion to learn and contribute.
- You work well with independently but know when to ask for help and keep the team informed.
- You are comfortable with giving and receiving feedback.
- You are capable of moving product for customers and within the showroom, lifting up to 30 pounds.
