Job Description
Temiskaming Hospital is a 59-bed fully accredited community hospital located in Temiskaming Shores, ON. We are currently accepting resumes for a temporary part-time Diagnostic Imaging Secretary to join our team.
The Diagnostic Imaging Secretary is responsible for performing a variety of standardized clerical tasks including accurately handling dictated material and records and orderly maintenance of files, records, stock of supplies and organization of procedure schedules.
Requirements include:
- Community College Graduate with courses in medical terminology
- Oral proficiency in English and French at an advanced or superior level required
- Excellent communication skills required as well as the ability to work rapidly for short periods under conditions of frequent interruptions
- Must have an excellent work record, including attendance
- Must demonstrate a commitment to ensure personal safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers and visitors
Assets:
- Experience working with Meditech
- Experience as a medical secretary in a hospital or related healthcare environment
