You as a Software Security Architect:
- Will lead the Security program for EllisDon’s construction management application (Gate Three), and will develop a security-first culture within the organization.
- Will partner with Architects, Software Engineering, QA, Analytics teams, DevOps, IT, Product Owners, UX and Tech Support, to drive and align with broader EllisDon security initiatives.
- Will establish and ensure that secure best practices, coding guidelines and deployments are adhered to.
- Will provide analysis and assessment of security risks and data, will advise on remediation priorities, and will follow through.
- Will be the focal point of contact for the SOC 2 certification of Gate Three.
This is the right role for you, if you have:
- A university degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Expertise in SOC 2 and NIST.
- Working knowledge of other security frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, etc.
- Demonstrable excellence in defining a course of action from vague business requirements and turning this to reality, by getting the buy-in from all involved teams and by following through till the launch of our secure application.
- Knowledge of a wide range of languages, technologies, and environments, such as JavaScript, Java, Golang, micro-services, REST API, MySQL, MongoDB, Azure, GCP, AWS etc. would be an asset.
