Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Essential Job Functions:
- Implement security measures to protect property, patrol assigned areas by Kubota and/or foot to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed. This job involves walking up to 15km per shift and driving (driver’s licence required).
- Using specialized equipment, validate paid parking and issue parking tickets.
- Follow direction (from client, security guards, supervisor or manager) on specific parking instructions.
- Maintain professionalism, confidence, and confidentiality especially during interactions with students, staff and faculty.
- Provide response to emergencies on site.
- Participate in emergency simulations.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- This position may not be held by a current Lambton College student.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Professional demeanor and deportment
- Strong attention to detail with high focus on accuracy
- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely and in compliance with site safety, health and environmental standards and practices

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites:
- Immunization Record
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Vulnerable Sector Check may be required
