SUMMARY
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the company's strategic marketing plan for the Resort Division, as well as individual properties within the portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective marketing initiatives to increase sales, profitability and brand awareness.
- Create and execute dynamic marketing strategies that will build upon the brand's success, ensuring consistent message integration across all programs, promotions and products.
- Develop and manage project marketing budget in partnership with SVP, Sales and Marketing, General Manager, and President, Resort Residential.
- Develops, manages and coordinates a workback schedule for all marketing elements related to a sales launch, in partnership with development team.
- Serves as a primary contact for advertising agency.
- Coordinate sales/presentation centre design and completion for new communities, including the project management of various professionals (interior designers, internal sales and development teammates).
- Source and recommend third party agencies or partners where needed.
- Execute marketing and communications plans and programs to end customers to maximize active user registration, traffic and sales.
- Accountable for the quality and timeliness of the go-to-market plans for site-specific marketing programs. Manages scope, schedule and budget for all project-specific marketing initiatives.
- Ensure projects and portfolio meet/exceed both targets for both leads and sales.
- Optimize use of tailored marketing and media vehicles to drive awareness and demand (i.e. site-specific websites, print, PR, event and email campaigns, as well as other marketing activities).
- Ensure full sales, marketing and brand alignment of programs.
- Make solid and informed recommendations on process improvements.
- Monitor social media and web presence, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain awareness of end customers' demographic and psychographic characteristics to develop targeted and focused site campaigns.
- Keep track of business and industry competitive trends and offerings and keeps team informed.
- Analyze and communicate results for all marketing programs via post-program summaries and analysis (ensuring ROI and future campaign planning learning).
- Coordinates weekly marketing meeting with all necessary participants. Follows up with meeting notes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience working for a builder/developer or brokerage
- Real estate experience a must; Resort, Travel, or Destination experience is a plus
- Well organized, personable, professional, confident, and able to multi-task
- Strong creative thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Hybrid Work Environment - Minimum 3 days at Downtown Head Office
- Up to 20% travel required within North America with a valid passport
- Valid G License with Cleared Driving Record required
