Mission of your Role
We are looking for a highly capable Junior Software Developer with strong skills in C++, C#, and a solid mathematical background to join our team. You will join our high performing team of software developers to help create and continuously improve software products that matter to improve the standard of orthotic and prosthetic patient care. You will work on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our software solutions, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and reliability.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain software solutions in C++ and C#, under the guidance of the Software lead.
- Participate in regular code reviews and implement quality assurance measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, issues, and inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to meet software requirements and expectations.
- Write clear and detailed technical documentation.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, programming languages, and industry best practices.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1 - 2 years of previous professional development experience.
- Experience in and understanding of C++ and C# programming.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design
- Strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts, particularly for computer graphics and geometric processing.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems as well as web and desktop application software
- Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with revision control systems such as Git and SVN
- Experience with modern web technologies and frameworks
- Familiarity with issue tracking software such as Jira
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, capable of interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proactive in learning new technologies and industry best practices.
- French language proficiency is an asset. As is fluency in other foreign languages. We have customers around the world in over 35 countries.
- Familiarity with the Orthotics and Prosthetics industry is an asset.
