Company: Virtek Vision is a provider of precision vision-based templating and inspection solutions serving customers in the aerospace, prefabricated construction, transportation, manufacturing, and heavy equipment industries.
Role: Are you a ‘self-starter’ who wants to grow their career in sales? Then this role might be for you! The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of proprietary Virtek software, in the form of modules, upgrades, subscriptions, and software maintenance to Virtek’s current and past customer base.
The Software Sales Representative (SSR) role is a critical component of our growth plan. As a Virtek SSR, you will be the first line of engagement with past and current customers, to discuss with them their options for upgrading or subscribing to our software solutions. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from generating new opportunities, through nurturing them, to closing them in order to meet a defined sales quota.
Responsibilities:
- Generate lists and reach out to current and former customers proactively.
- Keep track of when software maintenance expires for customers across our customer base, and what software they currently have.
- Drive lead generation for new software sales opportunities.
- Utilize current sales tools to automate and maximize customer outreach.
- Conduct effective discovery and qualification conversations with prospects through your deep understanding of our product value proposition and use cases.
- Utilize a lead qualification process, as well as, document sales information in our SalesForce CRM.
- Work with Sales Executives to identify and target larger software upgrade opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a college or university diploma/degree.
- 1-3 years of experience selling solutions over the phone (technical products preferred)
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
- A high degree of initiative, creativity, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent phone presence.
- Results oriented with proven success in an inside sales environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment; excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to understand sales and marketing strategy and develop value-added solutions.
- Experience using CRM systems strongly preferred.
