As a Gaming Content Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing different content strategies that will engage and captivate our partners global gaming audience. Ideally, you will have a background working in the gaming industry, leveraging our cross functional teams to create compelling and impactful content that aligns with our brand and drives player engagement.
You will be working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure your success here at Battlefy. We’re looking for someone to provide a unified voice for our clients Esports programs when it comes to their program portals, tournament pages and social media outlets . You’ll be able to work with incredible organizations like Riot Games, EA, Redbull, NFL, NBA, NHL and be a key component in helping the biggest brands in the world deliver their global esports strategies using our platform.

Requirements
- Develop and implement content that align with the overall marketing and business objectives, focusing on engaging and retaining our gaming audience.
- Collaborate with the creative teams to produce high-quality written and visual content, including articles, guides, videos, social media posts, and livestreams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, player preferences, and content opportunities within the gaming industry.
- Define target audience personas and develop player-centric content that resonates with their interests, motivations, and gaming preferences.
- Create and manage a content calendar that outlines the release schedule for different types of content, ensuring timely and consistent delivery that reaches defined KPIs
- Optimize content for search engines and discoverability, using relevant keywords and SEO best practices.
- Monitor content performance and engagement metrics, and utilize analytics tools to gather insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize content strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with gaming industry news, trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and content differentiation.
- Collaborate with community management and social media teams to engage with players, respond to feedback, and foster a positive gaming community.
Skills:
- 2+ years experience in the gaming industry providing impactful content for bigger enterprise business across the world.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Experience working with cross functional teams such as design, product and engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong general computer skills (e.g. Office/Excel, GSuite, Jira, etc.)
- Ability to accommodate client time zone differences
Nice to have’s:
- Experience working in an iterative development environment.
- Experience collaborating with product management to contribute to new features and product roadmap.
