In CableTalk, we are looking for a talented Technical Sales Representative with background experience in IT Infrastructure and Data Communication Products along with an understanding of the HVAC industry in Canada and USA. The person will be accountable for a multi-million dollar sales quota and will cover a territory from the GTA to Montreal as well as Northern states in the USA bordering Canada. The ideal candidate will earn competitive compensation along with commissions.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys a challenge and works well with a dynamic team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will assume responsibility for sales activities in pursuit of the company’s regional revenue and growth targets, driving results, customer acquisition, and growth across North American markets.
The position requires that the ideal candidate be strongly networked within the North American industry and be able to successfully orchestrate a sales process at multiple levels. They should be comfortable presenting to and negotiating with senior decision makers. Drawing on their experience, existing industry contacts, and market awareness, the successful candidate will have the confidence to work autonomously.

Key Job Requirements
· Actively participate as a member of the sales team and contribute to the overall corporate revenue and growth targets.
· Lead the development of sales strategies and execute tactical plans.
· Take a leadership role in major account relationships.
· Remain abreast of the industry, competitors, and market trends.
· Work with internal engineering, design, and technical managers to ensure smooth installations and ensure client satisfaction.
Preferred Experience
· Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the IT infrastructure arena.
· Proven track record of strategically building, leading, and driving successful sales
· Understands, participates and is well networked within the North American telecom industry.
· Strong team orientation well suited to constructive dialogue, finding solutions to achieve business goals, and ensuring strong, crisp execution of plans.
