You partner with our Manufacturing and Warehouse Leaders to understand the business strategies and leadership needs to develop our people leaders and individual contributors at ARC’One, our manufacturing facility. You are a coach and master relationship builder that loves to help people learn, grow, achieve their goals, and perform at their best.Meet your future team:As part of the People & Culture department, the L&D team is responsible for the global learning experiences at Arc’teryx delivered both in-person, online, and hybrid. This team operates in strategic partnership with the business, driving the continuous learning and development of people and leadership practices. This role is based out of our ARC’One facility in New Westminster and is open to hybrid remote work 2 days per week. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Identifying performance gaps, training priorities, developing roadmaps, and leading the execution of future training at our Manufacturing and Distribution Facility (ARC’One).
- Delivering in-person and hybrid leadership workshops/courses/programs including onboarding new hires and new manager training curriculum.
- Collaborating with the co-creators/stakeholders at various levels of seniority to understand objectives/strategies and desired results from learning opportunities.
- Training our frontline leaders in a “coach approach” to leading their teams and our Arc’teryx Leadership Code philosophy, framework, and practices.
- Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the learning experience.
- Coordinating logistical and administrative activities related to the delivery of our leadership development programs at ARC’One, such as our Mentorship Program and Vision & Goals Program.
- Collaborating with the Global Learning & Development Team to customize learning experiences for ARC’One team members.
- Co-creating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure course content creation aligns with best practices in Instructional Design and Adult Learning.
- Communicating, delivering, and tracking the completion of compliance training, such as Code of Conduct, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy training.
- Supporting the design, delivery, and evaluation of custom team development offsites/workshops with the Director, L&D.
- Writing project briefs for the creation of new training offerings, including Storyboards and Templates.
- Partnering with Subject Matter Experts in the business, such as our Factory Training Manager, our Manager, SAP Training, various People Leaders, and our Program Manager, EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) to create and/or update training materials/programs.
- Collaborating with our Employee Experience and Business Partners to create learning and talent development solutions to meet our business growth and needs.
- Supporting in the creation and continual evolution of personal development plans of our leaders.
- Championing our leadership development programs, such at onboarding, Lunch n’ Learns, Leadership Development programs, Vision & Goals program and supporting cultural programs.
- Identifying opportunities and evolving our training practices, methods and processes, as needed
- You have a degree or diploma in education and/or post-secondary education in organizational behavior, human resources or a related field.
- You have 3-5 years’ experience in the design and delivery of in-person corporate training, preferable within a manufacturing setting.
- You are a strong facilitator/presenter/trainer with excellent written and verbal communication experience speaking with diverse audiences, additional languages would be an asset.
- You have experience creating content for a variety of learner audiences (I.e., frontline operators to senior people leaders).
- You demonstrate a growth mindset and believe feedback is a gift
- You have experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
- You have 2+ years of demonstrated proficiency in working with online course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) and strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- You have end-to-end course development experience and project management skills.
- You have experience designing training content for a wide-ranging client group across all areas of a business
- You have demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
