Title: Sr. Coordinator, FNHDA Member Learning and Development.
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: Core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri. 37.5 hours per week.
Location: Park Royal offices, West Vancouver. Hybrid – 50% in the office.
About the role
The Senior Coordinator, FNHDA Member Learning and Development position will support the Centre of Indigenous Health Leadership’s (CIHL) Learning and Development team, providing administrative and operational support to the CIHL’s programs and services. This position is ideal for a self-starter who can work independently and with a team to handle multiple and changing priorities, build relationships with different stakeholders, manage and organize data, information and systems and creatively design processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and impact.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Diploma with demonstrated coursework in First Nations studies or Adult Education (Indigenous Adult Education is an asset), Human Resources, Organizational Development or Communications and 2 to 3 years of significant, recent, and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience with education and training systems/services, and in particular working with First Nations individuals, communities or organizations on issues related to governance and/or education/training.
- Recent, relevant experience, at a senior coordinator level, in coordination, work planning, budgeting and implementation of education/learning courses or, programs, initiatives and/or campaigns.
- Experience in project and/or meeting and events planning and management; experience in First Nations community and/or education/training organization in both virtual and in-person settings.
You may have experience in:
- Writing briefings.
- Presentations.
- Reports.
- Work plans.
- Microsoft Office tools.
