Position: Account Executive, Partnership Marketing
Department: Partnership Marketing
Reports to: Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing
Term: Effective immediately for one year
POSITION SUMMARY:
Committed to service excellence, the Account Executive is responsible for meeting and exceeding the ongoing commitments and contractual details that occur from the commencement of the partner relationship to the expiry of the agreement. This role will focus on:
- Managing strategic planning, ideation, consulting, activation, and retention of assigned corporate partner accounts
- Providing best-in-class service, consulting partners in developing and delivering impactful, effective, and measurable partnerships
- Developing a strong relationship with key partner contacts through consistent touch points to better understand their business and objectives to grow partnerships
- Managing contractual elements to ensure they are fully executed by all stakeholders
- Ensuring that the goals and commitments developed for each partner are being met in a timely and high-quality manner with frequent contact to ensure deadlines are met
- Working closely with the Brand Specialists on the approval and activation of all contractual elements
- Developing post-mortem, mid-season, and year-end reports to communicate program successes and proof of performance to partners
- Utilizing the Canucks technical suite to execute and report on partnership success, including KORE, Tradable Bits, Nielsen, Blinkfire, CRM, and Wrike
- Work closely with Arena Operations to ensure that signage maintenance, development, and design is completed to match contractual agreements
- Executing client hospitality requests, meetings, and game-day hospitality requirements
- Facilitating execution of in-game entertainment, events, and in-arena promotions
- Along with Director and Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing, achieving department revenue goals through successful account management, renewal, and growth of assigned corporate partner accounts

YOU MUST HAVE:
- 1-2 years’ experience in partnership activations
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as marketing or business management
- Experience planning and coordinating events, conferences, and/or promotions
- Excellent people and communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within an organization
- Highly organized with outstanding administrative and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Dynamic, hardworking, confident; a go-getter, with drive and initiative
- Committed to ensuring superior customer service and supporting the team
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Self-starter who can multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
- This is an onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
- Experience drafting and editing business proposals
- Working knowledge of desktop publishing software
