Honeypot Marketing is a digital marketing agency based in Waterloo, Ontario with team members around the world. We work with businesses ranging in size from scrappy start-ups to established public companies to engage consumers with the goal of turning them into brand advocates and grow our client’s businesses.
We work with our clients to integrate marketing and technology into their sales funnels. This involves evangelizing the power of technology and social media, strategic planning, software development, content creation, public relations, landing page design, advertising management, campaign asset creation, and email communications.

Are We Describing You?
You’re the bridge between the client and the Honeypot Team. You have an outgoing and proactive personality, not afraid to juggle multiple conversations, meetings, huddles and calls while using your skills and experience to keep projects on track and grow important relationships.
You’re also comfortable running client and team meetings, keeping on top of things follow-ups via phone, email or messenger. The Basecamp project management system is your jam. Gantt Charts give you oxygen and you love organizing projects, you may even be color coding the clothes in your closet while watching “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo”.
Responsibilities:
- You will be the Primary Point of Contact for select key clientele and projects.
- Organizing, preparing, running and following up with bi-weekly client huddles and meetings.
- Prepare Master Meeting Agendas, updates, and provide progress reports via various channels.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
- Work with the team to implement digital marketing strategies for clients in the professional services, media manufacturing, and B2B businesses to generate more leads and grow their businesses.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional media, including social media, email, and search engines.
- Creating Basecamp cards and stories in Kanban Boards for the team and clients.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
- Identify ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities.
- Organize and manage digital marketing projects to help clients meet their sales goals.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop effective marketing plans that align with their goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and B2B marketing account and project management.
- Strong leadership and project management skills to manage a team and oversee multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms. You have experience with:
- Google Analytics - gleaning insights from data.
- Google Workspace - you’re comfortable with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides.
- Microsoft - you’re used to using Outlook and Teams.
- Basecamp - you’ve used Basecamp 3 or Basecamp 4 and understand how to organize projects, use the major tools to facilitate efficiency and meeting deliverables.
- The client hasn’t answered that email? You’re not afraid to pick up the phone and make that more personal connection.
- Be familiar with the concept of Agile Methodologies and what they involve.
