As a Senior Accountant, a typical day might include:
- Working with the Senior Accounting Manager on various corporate finance tasks
- Executing month-end closing processes
- Conducting various report validations
- Insurer payables and direct bill
- Full cycle accounting for Axis related company

- Organization!– You stay on top of priorities, managing your time and others’ expectations effectively
- Paying attention to detail under tight deadlines – You know that, if you don’t have time to do it right, you don’t have time to do it twice
- Getting stuff done– You work independently and as part of a team to deliver timely, accurate results
Must Haves:
- Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced corporate administrative/accounting role
- Experience on a finance team, with responsibility for month-end close under tight deadlines
- CPA designation or in progress
You want a leg up?
- Insurance industry experience an asset
- Previous work experience with an Insurer or Broker
- Experience using Epic or other broker management systems an asset
