Do you enjoy learning about technology?As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting for our technology team in accordance with U.S. GAAP. You will perform various daily and month-end procedures related to the billing and invoicing processes for our internal technology team and third-party contractors. This role provides support related to coding for IT invoices.In this role, the successful candidates is needed to be in the Greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote-first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.Join our collaborative team as an Intermediate Accountant - Technology!What you’ll do:Perform month end close processes, liaise with subject matter experts to effectively and accurately prepare journal entriesProvide general ledger coding guidance to business stakeholder and monthly billing supportPerform routine analysis to support journal entries, assist in variance analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts in accordance with US GAAP and Enterprise Finance Policy to meet internal compliance requirements. Investigates and resolves any related discrepancies.Create reporting while considering decision-maker needs and reporting objectives before building reportsDevelop and implement process enhancements, automation, and best practices to increase efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reportingDesign basic reconciliation templates and identify most efficient ways to extract dataAssist business partners in finding solutions by making informed judgments and decisions through thorough analysis of information.
