Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of finance in all aspects of accounting generally in the property management.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees
- Handle accounts receivable duties, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments
- Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records
- Serve as a clerk, organizing and maintaining financial documents and records
- Utilize 10-key typing skills for data entry purposes
- Assist with journal entries to record financial transactions
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Understand and apply debits and credits principles in accounting processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications including quickbooks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
