Job Description
We are hiring full time Staff Accountants to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are looking to interview accountants who share our commitment to doing good work and providing excellent service to the client.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of compilation, audit and review engagements, including well-organized supporting working papers and the drafting of financial statements
- Preparation of Canadian personal, corporate and trust tax returns
- Responding on our clients behalf to inquiries from the CRA and managing CRA audits
- Working to continuously improve our offices practices and processes to ensure continued compliance, efficiency and high standards of service for our clients
- Working overtime when necessary during our busy seasons
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Time management and personal administrative capacity needed to ensure multiple ongoing projects are met before deadlines
- Capacity and desire to take initiative, learn, grow and improve
- Able to work alone or in teams effectively
- Capable of learning and adapting to changing technologies
- Able to synthesize multiple bodies of knowledge
Preference given to candidates with more extensive knowledge and experience, a CPA designation and skill with excel as well as tax and accounting software.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
