We have an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Clerk looking to work with a wide variety of retail stores, commercial operations, and holding companies. Reporting to the Controller, you will have a primary focus on routine areas such as revenue, cash reporting, and reconciliations.
Enough about us. You want to know what you’ll be getting yourself into. You’ll get a chance to showcase your attention to detail and efficiency while getting involved in these areas:
- Review cash reporting paperwork from retail store locations.
- Post daily and weekly sales entries to the accounting system.
- Prepare daily sales reports for store managers.
- Assist with reconciling bank accounts and credit cards.
- Perform timely cheque deposits via digital cheque deposit machine.
- Assist with accounts payable process, such as saving and reconciling vendor statements.
- Other duties as assigned.
To do that well, you need to have some skills and traits. Here’s what we’re looking for from you:

- Some experience with Excel and other Microsoft programs.
- Completely fluent in English both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- An interest in pursuing your CPA designation in the future is an asset.
