Administrative and Accounting Assistant duties and responsibilities
Successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative and financial tasks. They will take on both administrative and bookkeeping tasks. Some of the duties and responsibilities expected include:
- Manage books using QBO, fille GST, and payroll
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable by depositing cheques and preparing invoices
- Use MS office/computer software to manage reports and track financial and sales data
- Manage company budgets, and assist with Ad hoc tasks
- Create and manage a systematic filing and reporting system
- Prepare documents for the company Accountant or for Internal Auditors
- Compile data for income tax returns, and prepare customized reports for management
- Verify or reconcile bank transactions, complete deposits, or issue cheques
Some of the skills and qualifications include:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Aptitude with computer software programs utilized by the company including Quickbooks Online knowledge and expertise, as well as MS Office.
- Excellent administrative skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and fleixibility
- Ability to self-motivate and be innovative
- Ability to work together with others
- Other assigned duties by direct manager
- Salary range may vary based on previously related educational and work experiecne.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to $52,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
