Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Technician with experience for our Montreal location.
- Accurately and timely sort Accounts Payable invoices and statements;
- Process payments;
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and process transactions;
- Matching invoices and checking for any discrepancies;
- Entering invoices and data into the system;
- Work with other departments to ensure that information is accurate;
- Manage transactions such as vendor invoices and payments;
- Monitor vendor’ payment schedules to ensure that timely payment is received;
- Resolve any billing or invoicing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- DEC or DEP in accounting;
- Good general understanding of computer systems and accounting software;
- Ability to manage a large volume of work;
- Ability to adapt quickly to different situations;
- Ability to work simultaneously with several branches;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Bilingualism (French/English).
