Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. Our Corporate Accounting team is looking for a motivated accounting professional to join our payables group. If you are an attentive, organized individual looking for exposure to a variety of commodities we encourage you to apply. This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon. Members of this team are currently working primarily from home coming into the office one day a week.
What you’ll do:
- Provide support to the Expense Desk.
- Prepare journal entries, payable adjustments, and debit letters.
- Review outstanding supplier accounts, coordinating with the credit team to request payment.
- Receive and respond to supplier correspondences appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Other duties as required.

You will be one of four Accounts Payable Clerks on a larger team of nine professionals lead by the Accounting Supervisor, Payables. This diverse team has a lot of fun together while cultivating a culture of community and collaboration.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
- Have a high school diploma and an introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution. Individuals with a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
