Job Description
We invite applications for a full-time opportunity at St. Andrew's College in the role of Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk, reporting to the Associate Director, Finance.
The Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk will process and monitor payment of invoices, expense reports, and school expenditures as authorized and maintain the Accounts Payable (AP) database in addition to assisting with the processing and monitoring of student, individual and organization records, transactions and posting account charges and receipts.
Main responsibilities will include initiating and maintaining manual and electronic vendor records and files, collecting invoices and distributing for approval, verifying and coding all invoices, payments, corporate credit cards and expense reports. The Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk will enter and reconcile student charges to customer accounts and perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording AR information.
This position will support St. Andrew’s College and St. Anne’s School.
Candidates are required to hold a post-secondary accounting certificate and 1-2 years of related accounting experience. Candidates must be detail-oriented and accountable for accuracy and efficiency. Strong communication, problem-solving, discretion, and confidentiality are key characteristics required of this role.
