Are you interested in the field of mediation? A Place for Mediation is looking for a self-starter individual who can work independently, someone with initiative who is a team player, and a good listener who is familiar with confidentiality. The successful candidate will have familiarity with human resources, legal practice, and or mediation. We are hiring an administrative assistant to join the team!
Administrative assistant responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to provide information to respond to questions.
- Assist in the preparation of scheduled reports.
- Maintain a filing system.
- Handle multiple projects.
- Prepare and monitor invoices.
- Ensure operation of equipment complete preventive maintenance calling for repairs.
- Maintain supplies inventory, check stock; anticipate the need for, and order supplies.
- Write letters and emails and manage the director’s schedule/ appointments.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Take accurate minutes of meetings.
- Reply to email, telephone, or face-to-face inquiries.
- Photocopy and print out documents.
- Implement clerical duties and administrative processes.
