The Opportunity
Under the supervision of the Program Facilitator, the Administrative Assistant role at the Carewest Operational Stress Injury Clinic is responsible for providing administrative services in a timely, well organized, and confidential manner. This position is responsible for greeting and directing visitors and clients; answering telephone calls and email correspondence; processing referrals and discharges to and from the clinic; enrolling and disseminating client screening forms, client consents, and zoom invites; recording and reporting statistical data; scheduling appointments and meetings; sending and receiving confidential documents; maintaining a filing system; transcribing dictated or typewritten reports; monitoring the clinic safe; and typing up proposals, agendas, and meeting minutes. Responsible for other related duties as required.

- Minimum Grade 12 education combined with relevant post-secondary training such as an administrative certificate or diploma.
- Medical Terminology course is an asset. Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant administrative support experience; advanced computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, Access or equivalent database); typing skills 50+ wpm required; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) (Connect Care) an asset.
