Job Description
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the Manager, People Operations, and provide the People & Culture team functional direction during vacation/leave coverage. The People and Culture & Office Coordinator will provide resources and build relationships to support the overall operations of the department to ensure alignment on key P&C deliverables and priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Administration (70%):
- Prepare employment offers for retail and HQ staff and follow up for related documentation
- Process and support with employee changes including promotions, transfers and terminations
- Maintain the HRIS and SharePoint – ensuring the information is up to date and accurately filed at all times
- Update and maintain all HR related checklists and Organizational Charts
- Responsible for the timely response to queries in the general Talent Inbox
- Assist with creating employee allowance codes for new hires and for twice annual issuance
Office Management (30%):
- Ensure office space is fully stocked and maintained, including stationaries, kitchens, boardrooms and common areas
- Maintain and enhance relationships with all office related vendors, including security company, repairs/building maintenance, food and beverage service, recycling and janitorial services, courier and storage services. Ensure we have the right service levels and that the vendors are performing per agreement
- Assist with planning and coordination of company celebrations and People & Culture health, safety and wellness initiatives
- Other projects and tasks, as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or related diploma
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Customer service oriented and a genuine care in the well-being and success of people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Proven time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Team player and ability to make and maintain strong relationship within the company
