As a Delivery Lead within the RBSS (Remote Banking and Shared Services), Enterprise Customer Information Services (ECIS) team, you will play a critical role in our development team managing large multi package deliverables for our Enterprise Client Data service. The role requires you to communicate extensively with internal & external technology teams and business partners to ensure deliverables are completed in line with the development timeline and scope. You will use your experience in Software development methodology to make recommendations for continuous improvements to improve delivery timelines and quality for optimal QA and release efficiency.You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1 day per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Please note that this may change dependent on business needs.How You’ll SucceedDevelopment Coordination – Using your experience within a development environment you will be able to work with multiple development managers and identify technical deliverables, resource requirements, costs, and structure these into an appropriate delivery plan ensuring all scope items are identified and scheduled appropriately. You will proactively manage the delivery plan and associated issues/risks/dependencies and take appropriate actions to ensure quality deliverables on time.Collaboration and Communication – Help internal partners such as BA, Design, QA, PM make informed decisions about dependencies and priorities of deliverables. Coach and mentor, your teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.Delivery Management – Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they are completed according to planned quality, timelines, and budgets.Who You AreYou can demonstrate technical depth through 7+ years’ experience within a Development area or a Technical QA area, ideally within the banking industry. You have experience working within large programs or working within a complex application environment. You can demonstrate solid experience with Iterative development methodologies, a knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and in-depth understanding of the full delivery process from Solutions Requirements, Design, Development, QA cycle and deployment. You will have experience leading and being accountable for development deliverables with a background or a working knowledge of soap services or API development initiatives. You are a strong contributor and can demonstrate this through a proven track record of successful project deliveries.You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent. You have a JAVA development background and ideally a knowledge of one of Oracle, RedHat, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.You embrace and champion change.
