Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Lead Application Integration Developer on permanent basis on our Innovation team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Canada. Reporting to the Manager Data Integration and Solutions, the Lead Application Integration Developer gives support and technical guidance to business analysts, quality assurance specialists, and development teams on the practical side of integrating applications and making integrated systems work. This position looks at the best approach to design, build, deploy, and continuously improve Integrations that are deployed to the ACE and CP4I platform. The position also works with the data and integration Architects to help implement architectural standards. The Lead will evaluate recommended solutions and address any difficulties that arise to ensure the success of integration projects.
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for ensuring that team members, suppliers, and consultants deliver high-quality integration solutions on time. The role will lead team members through the project lifecycle, providing direction on integration initiatives and ensuring that best practices are followed.
- Design, develop, and implement integrations using IBM ACE and CP4I
- Identify and mitigate integration risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain integration test plans and participate in integration testing to ensure the integrations meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all integrations.
- Ensure all deliverables are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with the organization's technology standards.
- Drive the software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure integrations are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.

The Team: You will work closely with the Data Integration Analyst and Solution Architect. This team strives to cultivate a culture of dedicated, passionate, collaborative, and results-oriented individuals.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Innovation business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Solutions Architect and Digital Solutions.
The Customers: You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting Enterprise Data Warehouse and the other teams in Enterprise Information Management.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Have 8+ years of experience in integration development, with a deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
- Have extensive technical skills in IBM ACE and CP4I.
- Have proficiency in leading a team of developers.
- Have strong knowledge of SDLC, software development methodologies, and best practices.
- Have experience with integration testing, documentation, and test automation Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Are able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have experience coaching and mentoring technology talent.
