Position: Bartender, Blue Water Cafe
Reports to: Bar Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
The Bartender will support the bar program, creating classic and innovative drinks for guests both directly at the bar and through front-of-house staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests
- Interact with guests, creating an excellent proactive memorable guest experience
- Comply will all beverage regulations
- Maintain and execute on the bar cleaning checklists
- Assist with managing the beverage program’s inventory
- Work collaboratively as a key member of a large team
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven frontline customer service experience in a premium setting
- Strong knowledge of the primary liquor types and how they interact with mixers and juices
- Valid Serving it Right certificate
- Familiarity with mixology
- Wine knowledge is an asset
- Have a natural ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including listening skills
- Display a professional presentation
- Flexibility to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with varying start times
- The ability to be physically active for most of the shift; standing, reaching, bending, and lifting
