THE ROLE
As a Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations and marinas. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.
The Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant will provide a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, preparing food and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system, provide a clean bar area and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
AND
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol inQuebec
Must possess a Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
Food Handling Certification, as required
Experience
In food and beverage preparation
In food and beverage service
In serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
In cash handling
In preparing bank deposits and floats
Competencies, Skills and Abilities

The military mess is the centre of social life for serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, where customs, responsibilities and social standards are practiced. Messes are steeped in rich military heritage and tradition. The mess includes food as a central component of events and camaraderie. Personnel Support Program (PSP) Hospitality Services and management are pinnacle to their success.
