Hours of Work: This is a temporary part-time position that would require a minimum availability of up to three shifts per week. The majority of shifts occur in the evenings, weekends and holidays with the occasional shift during the day.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to provide courteous, fast bartender service to patrons of the Flato Markham Theatre and at receptions. Ensure excellent customer service and lobby concession operations when selling beverages and food. Ensures that patrons are served within legal consumption and age regulations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for cash float and keys
- Set up and take down of bar and concession
- Cleans prior, during and after events and occasional receptions
- Stocks inventory
- Runs reports and records sales
- General bartending duties at discretion of house manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age 19
- High School Diploma required
- Strong experience with cash handling
- Prior experience in customer service area preferred
- Previous experience serving customers is required
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Sensitivity to interact with a diversity of Theatre patrons in a courteous and efficient manner
- Smart Serve certification
- Standard First Aid with CPR ‘C’
- Additional languages is an asset
- Vulnerable Sector Screening letters will be required
