Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Monitor customer behaviour and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
- Shifts will be every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10am until 6pm.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in order to accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of food handling safety guideline
- Familiarity with retail math for cash handling purposes
- Must have AB pro serve certification
Prior experience in the catering, hospitality, brewing, restaurant, or food service industry is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: $17.00 per hour
