The Heart & Crown is a bustling Irish pub in the heart of the Barrhaven that offers upscale pub fare.
The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing servers and bartenders, as well as assisting with the daily operations of the bar. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills and an understanding of bar management policies and procedures. The right candidate will be able to effectively plan, organize and direct all aspects of the bar business and develop plans that ensure that both customers and coworkers are satisfied.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure that the food, drink, and ambience are of high quality.
- Engage with customers to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Ensure that all food items are prepared according to our specifications.
- Maintain an attractive appearance of the bar area and uphold the standards of the bar and staff.
- Pour drinks at the bar.
- Supervise others overseeing the bar.
The bar manager will also have the opportunity to take bartending shifts.
