Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations
- Assist with setting up and breaking down catering events, if applicable
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality, or food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of beverages is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of bar service regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Serve it Right certificate and Food Safe is required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
