Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages to customers
- Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes
- Provide recommendations and suggestions for drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Qualifications:
- SmartServe certified. Previous experience as a bartender in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing methods, and cocktail recipes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
