Chef’s Hat Inc. is a manufacturing company of Chef’s Uniforms and is currently seeking for a candidate with accounting experience to join our team as a bookkeeper.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting up and maintaining customer accounts and files
- Preparing invoices and credit memos on an ongoing basis
- Processing credit card and EFT payments from clients in multi currencies
- Weekly Accounts Payable by cheque or EFT
- Bi-weekly payroll of salaried & hourly employees
- Submitting monthly payments for source deductions
- Set up of new product codes for inventory
- Preparation of monthly inventory adjustments
- Entering shipment of new product into inventory
- Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Filing quarterly GST Taxes and submitting payment
- Preparation of monthly financial reports for the bank
- Basic year end preparation
Qualifications:
- A candidate that is bondable
- 3-5 years of experience in a full cycle bookkeeping role
- Knowledge in Desktop Quickbooks
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Office 365
- Experience working in small business is an asset
- A fun-loving attitude
Job Type: Part time Permanent
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
