PDI has established renowned global brands through its Demon Powersports and Rugged lines, and has become a strategic supply chain partner for major OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in the powersports and automotive industry since 1992.
The company’s scale of operations have propelled it to be the leader and Canada’s largest manufacturer of aftermarket ATV, UTV, and side-by-side (SXS) parts. Today, PDI supplies its products to major international brands including Yamaha, Honda, John Deere, Suzuki, Can-Am, Polaris, and many more. PDI’s products are renowned in the powersports industry, often sponsoring and appearing alongside championship racers in desert racing, rock crawling, and mud circuits under the Demon Powersports brand.
In the past few years, in line with its objectives of being a leader in the outdoor recreation space, PDI created its own electric bike line through its Demon Electric and RYDE brands. PDI is also looking to expand its product offering and brand awareness in its e-bike lines to promote healthy active living and micro-mobility.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional who will take leadership and execute branding initiatives. The Brand Manager will be responsible for all digital advertising, social media, print advertising, brand ambassador, and sponsorship activities with the ability to co-ordinate with front-end sales, operations, product, and e-commerce team members to ensure maximum operating efficiency. We are looking for a professional who displays strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to continuously take leadership in developing innovative and efficient ways to engage our customer base. Exceptional teamwork, time management, organizational and planning skills are a must. The Brand will be working in a highly dynamic environment with a team of motivated individuals who appreciate wearing multiple hats and working diligently towards a common goal. The selected candidate must be able to operate and thrive in a high-paced work environment, while delivering high quality work in a timely manner, in addition to general marketing and sales responsibilities. We are looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and tenacious individual to join our team. The Brand Manager will have the opportunity to work with multiple teams and departments and is expected to have a team-oriented approach while working alongside sales, business development, product, technology and design teams to grow the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Will undertake all aspects of marketing and branding including developing a holistic and streamlined marketing plan and executing these ideas through various channels including social media, print advertising, digital advertising, brand ambassador programs, and sponsorship initiatives
· Collaborate on a daily basis with sales and other teams and participate in meetings with the marketing department and contribute ideas in building brand awareness and general marketing initiatives
· Research and bring forth new ideas and analyze competitor branding initiatives within the industry to ensure the company is up-to-date with the latest ways to engage our audience, and create branding initiatives to improve client penetration
· Work directly with the design team to ensure all branding aspects are included within company materials and in-line with branding/marketing initiatives while coordinating with the sales team to meet deadlines
· Seek out continuous improvement in our processes and implement best practices and procedures from a branding perspective
· Provide cost/benefit analysis in digital advertising initiatives with a strong understanding of the potential impact specific initiatives will have on future business as well as upfront costs
· Be a team player in working alongside others, exchanging ideas, and proactively generating innovative brands
· Work with team members on additional duties and assigned projects in collaboration with Sales, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Product, and Technology teams
· Liaise within teams to identify requirements and work directly with Management in marketing improvements
· Be the primary contact in managing partnerships and sponsorships, and assist with budgeting costs and potential revenues/growth on business development/sales projects
· Become well-versed in all social media platforms, compile and track followership increases, and suggest improvements action plans to increase these levels on various platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
· Produce results and demonstrate high growth in followers on all social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
· University degree in the area of Marketing, Business, or education and training with equivalent employment experience
· Strong technical knowledge of key marketing practices, and the ability to execute on these initiatives
· Minimum 5 years of branding and/or overall marketing experience
· Competence and experience in the duties and responsibilities described above
· Solid knowledge and understanding of working in a business environment, digital marketing, social media marketing, in-person sales, branding, and digital advertising
· Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills
· Self-starter, team player and ability to thrive in fast paced and high energy environment
· Possess initiative, integrity and a strong work ethic
· Attention to detail and accuracy is important
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be flexible
· Professional, self-confident and able to work independently
· Strong customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude
· Solid verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English (fluency in Mandarin is preferred)
· Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
