The Role
Branch is hiring a Business Development Representative to enhance our expansion in the enterprise office furniture market, generate awareness about Branch in the enterprise business space, and work on inbound deals. This is a B2B full-cycle sales role that will hunt for new business through outbound prospecting activity as well as react to our inbound lead flow.
You'll own individual revenue growth for our enterprise business, action inbound leads from prospects that have shown interest through our web and social media presence, prospect for new enterprise business through outbound activity, collaborate with our Growth team on lead quality, and work with our Operations team to deploy our furniture solutions at your new customer locations. You will utilize our sales playbook and CRM to win new business across major markets and segments.
In your first ninety days at Branch, you’ll:
- Learn the Branch value proposition and sales process.
- Gain an understanding of our differentiators as they apply to product quality, operational excellence, customer service, inventory management, and delivering on customer needs.
- Begin to forecast your own book of business to add to the overall growth of Branch throughout North America.
- Develop your own approach to Enterprise customer acquisition and refine existing channel strategies targeting brokers, landlords, A&D stakeholders and end users.
- Begin to qualify inbound leads and close inbound deals.
- Work closely with our Enterprise Operations team to exceed customer expectations on the date of delivery.
- Work with our Growth team on new enterprise-facing digital acquisition strategies;
You'll be responsible for individual revenue targets and appointment setting for the field sales force, will report directly to our Head of Sales, and be located flexibly in Canada.

What We’re Looking For:
- 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally in a remote selling environment
- Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
- Scrappy, do more with less: think Lara Croft + MacGyver + Bear Grylls
- Strong bias for action and a thirst to learn
- Strong desire to be the top performer on their team and in their industry
- Desire to grow within a scaling organization
- Ability to complete projects and tasks autonomously
- Superlative written and verbal communication
Bonus Points:
- A love for furniture, design and the built environment
- Past experience selling in the commercial real estate or furniture industries
- Bilingual - Ability to speak, read and write French fluently
