Kindred Home Care provides short and long term home support services, and respite care to individuals and families in the areas of personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, medication reminders, end of life care and home management. We are a company with an innovative, energetic, forward-looking team. We are looking to fill administrative roles to meet the growing needs of our team.
In a role as Care Coordinator, you will play a supporting role to the regional Care Manager. This is a critical support role where you will function as the owner of all scheduling and fulfillment solutions in your region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & service delivery coordination
- Leadership and support to the Care Support team
- Ownership over your region’s master schedule and patterns
- Ensure fulfillment and accuracy on all anticipated hours
- Supporting your Care Manager with in-home client assessments
- Support recruitment activities, interviews, and onboarding
- Establish genuine connections with your team, clients, funders, and caregivers
- Other duties as assigned by your care manager
Qualifications & Requirements:
- The ability to communicate professionally (oral and written) with French-speaking clients and caregivers is an asset
- Experience with Excel and scheduling support work is preferred
- Experience with Salesforce would be considered an asset
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective relationship-building skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to think quickly, re-prioritize tasks in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to work from home with minimal supervision
- Positive, flexible and reliable
Hours:
The Care Coordinator provides support for our 24/7 operations and shares the responsibility of after-hours and holiday on-call support. The office hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm where you would work remotely from home. You will also be required to travel throughout your region to support in-home client assessments as needed.

Salary: $43,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
