The Role:
- Assist with the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
- Work closely with the multi disciplinary team to facilitate the best practices are being used
- Provides support to residents, their family and visitors during the resident's stay
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
- Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
- Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living an asset
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication and development
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
