We are currently hiring Slot Attendants/Cashiers to join our Chances Salmon Arm Team.
In this position you will be providing front-line customer service by answering questions, assisting with orientation of games and working to create a positive and memorable gaming experience for all of our guests. This position also comes with the opportunity of being a relief Cage Supervisor and showing off your amazing leadership skills.
What you will be doing
- Communicating weekly and monthly promotions and events to customers.
- Performing foreign currency exchange.
- Accepting and paying verified wins.
- Reconciling cash float at end of shift.
- Validating TITO tickets from slot machines.
- Issuing slot and lotto jackpots and cancelled credits.
- Proactively delivering amazing service by addressing guest needs and any machine problems.
- Clearing bill and ticket jams and checking game and voucher histories to maintain game integrity.
What you will bring
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Supervisory skills are an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate and a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
- Must be 19+
