If you haven't been to a Duty Free before, imagine lots of great products (liquor, wine, beer, fragrance, skincare, jewellery, handbags etc.) for sale at prices lower than you can find anywhere else and customers who are in a great mood because they're on vacation and love a great deal. Working at Duty Free you'll be required to:
- Inform customers of Duty Free regulations
- Manage customer requests and objections
- Maintain knowledge and inform customers of current products, services and promotions
- Process transactions with speed and accuracy
- Recognize security risks and thefts
- Clean and organize the store
- Take direction from Supervisors
Compensation
- Listed Hourly Wage is based on total compensation including potential bonuses and staff incentives
- Paid breaks and additional incentives available
Position Requirements:
- Must be 18+
- Cashier and customer service experience
- Reliable vehicle (public transportation is not available to HWY 405)
- Able to work longer shifts (8-12 hours)
- Available to work holidays and weekends (not all but 2-3 per month)
- Approximately 35-40 hours per week

A typical schedule would be a variety of shifts including 2-3 days of morning shifts (6am start), 1-3 days off, 2-3 days of mid-day shifts, 1-3 days off, 2-3 days of evening shifts etc. How does this work for you?
- The store is located at the end of HWY 405 (near Queenston Heights Park). Public transit is not available to this location. How long would your commute be?
