Office Clerk
Cement & Albany Cartage, a member of the Lafarge Canada Inc family, is immediately seeking an office clerk based in our Havelock, NB location.
This is a Full Time Salaried Position, with Benefits, which include Medical / Dental and Retirement. Remuneration based on experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and even keeled individual to work in our small local office, in particular working with SAP with a focus on payroll & billing accuracy. The position will work closely with the Office coordinator, Dispatchers, Drivers, and Garage personnel. The incumbent is also potentially the point-person for Customers and Drivers for relief of day-to-day dispatch related activities. This includes, but it is not limited to customer service, order accuracy & dispatching of drivers and equipment, when day dispatch is on vacation or not available.
Key responsibilities entail:
· General Office Administration
· SAP program: Creation of purchase orders and vendor management
· Payroll: Collecting and reviewing driver and mechanic timesheets to ensure that payroll has been processed accurately.
· Accounts Payable: Supports the Account Payable team as needed.
· Dispatch relief: Monitors drivers and tracks equipment on GeoTab tracking system. Acts as the first point of contact for any issues regarding road breakdowns if day dispatcher is not available.
· Customer Service: Supports with Day and Night Dispatchers, order pickup and delivery need and problem resolution. Enters accurate customer order details. Fosters and maintains working relationships with customers, drivers, and all other employees.
A successful candidate is one, who is able to multitask, while having a strong attention to detail. Has logical problem solving and conflict resolution abilities. We are seeking someone who has worked with SAP, office experience, proficient with Microsoft, understands general accounting principles, and has a basic understanding of Atlantic Canadian geography.
