Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients in the emergency room (ER) setting
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy
- Provide drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare providers
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Document interventions, recommendations, and outcomes in patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to optimize patient care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active pharmacist license in the state of employment
- Experience working in an emergency room or critical care setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: $40.00-$50.12 per hour

- Weekends as needed

- pharmacist: 2 years (preferred)
